| THE GREEN FLAG FLYS ON MAY 2 TO START THE 2010 SEASON! The 2010 racing season is right around the corner! Tim will once again be running the full schedule of the ASA Midwest Tour as a Midwest Touring Star! Tim and the crew have been busy putting the finishing touches on the #21 Chevrolet readying it for the first race of the season on May 2 at Madison International Raceway in Oregon, WI. “I’m looking forward to this season. Hopefully, this year, we can get a couple of wins under our belt and have better luck than last.” Tim says. When he’s not racing in the ASA Midwest Tour this year, you will find Tim at his hometrack in West Salem, WI racing on Saturday nights in the NASCAR Whelen Series. The ASA Midwest Tour has partnered with Fox Sports North/Fox Sports Wisconsin and will broadcast thirty minute highlight shows of selected races. These races are: the Joe Shear Classic, Madison Intl. Speedway, Madison, WI on May 2; the Elko 100, Elko, MN; the Swiss Colony All Star Challenge in Oregon, WI on June 29; Dixieland 150 Wisconsin Intl Raceway in Kaukauna, WI; and the Oktoberfest 100 in West Salem, WI. Our team will forward dates and times of the shows! Another exciting announcement from the ASA Midwest Tour is that it has partnered with Roy Kenseth for a race on June 29! The Swiss Colony All-Star Challenge at the Madison International Speedway in Oregon, WI will feature not only the regular ASA Midwest Tour drivers, but also NASCAR drivers Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart! These races are always thrilling and usually sell out. You can order your tickets online via the ASA Midwest Tour website! Tim to race in West Salem and the All-Star Challenge Series! Heading back to his “home” track, Tim will run in the NASCAR Whelen Series this summer on Saturday nights when his schedule permits. Running a car for series regular Shawn Pfaff, Tim is excited to go back to his “roots” and run at the LaCrosse Speedway in West Salem in a competitive local series. Tim is also hoping to run the three scheduled races in the All-Star Challenge Series. These races are scheduled June 10 at the State Park Speedway in Wausau, July 10 at the Marshfield Motor Speedway in Marshfield and August 10 at the Golden Sands Speedway in Plover. Come out and cheer him on! A Nationwide Series tryout .... Earlier this month, Tim was asked by Means Racing to drive the #52 Chevrolet in the Nationwide Series Race in Nashville, TN. After a mechanical difficulty forced him out of the second practice followed by a susequent rally to fix the car before qualifying, Tim came up short in his qualifying time. He missed the qualifying field by three-tenths of a second! Tim was disappointed by the outcome but grateful for the opportunity! Follow Tim and the team on FACEBOOK this year!
